The Sector for Economic and Legal Affairs carries out its activities through:

the Department for Economic Affairs and the Department for Legal, Personnel and General Affairs.

The Sector for Economic and Legal Affairs has the following scope of work:

  • carries out economic, financial, accounting, foreign trade and commercial activities.
  • participates in the preparation of work and business plans, development programmes and analyses their implementation,
  • plans, organizes and monitors cash flows,
  • proposes, monitors and analyses the regulation of economic relations and the distribution system in the Chamber
  • records all business changes and prepares the Chamber’s balance sheet and accounting statements.
  • coordinates procurement activities for the needs of the Chamber,
  • achieves close cooperation with other organizational parts of the Chamber and other organizations, institutions and persons in order to carry out the tasks within its scope.

The Sector also performs legal, personnel and general affairs of the Chamber:

  • participates in the preparation of contracts at the request of other organizational units of the Chamber;
  • prepares proposals for normative, general and other acts within its field and participates in the preparation of draft acts from other fields in the Chamber
  • represents, by authorization of the president and vice president, before judicial, administrative and other bodies,
  • performs professional and administrative-technical tasks for the needs of the work of the Management Board, Supervisory Board and Assembly of the Chamber
  • coordinates and gives instructions for work within its field to the parts of the Chamber
  • provides legal assistance in the form of interpretation of legal norms, general acts, instructions, orders and in person,
  • providing legal opinions on contracts prepared by other organizational units in the Chamber
  • gives legal opinions, prepares legal forms of laws, regulations and other acts where the holders are other organizational units of the Chamber,
  • participates in commissions formed for tasks within the scope of work of other sectors
  • provides legal assistance to parts of the Chamber at their request and for tasks within their scope,
  • resolves property-legal matters related to the Chamber’s real estate in cooperation with parts of the Chamber
  • performs personnel and administrative tasks
  • prepares normative and general acts in the field of labour relations and work organization,
