The Association of Real Estate Brokers at the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Economic Chamber was established after the adopted decision… on 28.01.2016, when the Founding Assembly was held on the initiative of a group of real estate agencies with the aim of professional organization and networking, focusing its activities on the necessary adoption of a legal framework that would regulate the real estate brokerage activity.
The absence of a special legal regulation governing the real estate brokerage activity led to a number of problems that most affected registered business entities engaged in this activity, as well as citizens and legal entities using brokerage services.
Therefore, on the initiative of the Association of Real Estate Brokers at the Federation of BiH Economic Chamber, a draft Law on Real Estate Brokerage was created.
The members of the Association recognized the Federation of BiH Economic Chamber as an institution that could help them both in drafting the Law on Real Estate Brokerage and in the implementation process itself.
The drafting of the law is the result of years of work by the Association committee, which consisted of representatives of real estate brokerage associations and employees of the Federation of BiH Chamber.
The Federal Ministry of Trade recognized the importance of regulating this activity, and cooperation was established between the Association of Real Estate Brokers at the Federation of BiH Economic Chamber and the Ministry, which agreed to be the proposer of the Law, resulting in the adoption of the Law and its entry into force
On 30.09.2021, the Law on Real Estate Brokerage in the Federation of BiH (Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH no. 75/21) entered into force

MANUAL FOR TAKING THE PROFESSIONAL EXAM FOR A REAL ESTATE BROKER AGENT
Cooperation of the Association of Real Estate Brokers of the Federation of BiH Chamber is a positive example for all other established associations within the Chamber and an invitation for new productive cooperation and problem-solving within their activities.
The main goal is to contribute to the creation of legal regulations that would establish organized real estate trade, which, among other things, implies the education and licensing of brokers in order to improve the work of brokers, and thus protect real estate sellers and buyers.
The Register of Real Estate Brokers is published on the website of the Federal Ministry of Trade and enables sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants to check at any time whether the broker they are dealing with is authorized to mediate.

Members of the Association may only be business entities entered in the Register of Brokers at the Federal Ministry of Trade.
