Authorized operators of the packaging and packaging waste management system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the companies Ekopak d.o.o. Sarajevo and Eko život d.o.o. Tuzla, as well as the authorized operators of the electronic and electrical waste management system Kim Tec Eko d.o.o. Vitez and Zeos d.o.o. Sarajevo, founded the Association of System Operators of the Federation of BiH (UOS). The Association was founded on 01/02/2019 at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH.

The aim of the Association of System Operators is to further develop and improve the management system for special waste categories under the principle of “extended producer responsibility”, with the purpose of protecting and improving the environment.
