SUPPORT FOR IMPROVING COMPETITIVENESS AND EMPLOYMENT – ENHANCE

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH is implementing the ENHaNCE project in partnership with the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Zlatibor Administrative District and the Association Center for Education and Raising Awareness of the Need to Increase Energy Efficiency – ENERGIS.

The purpose of the project is to strengthen economic growth and sustainable employment opportunities for industrial small and medium-sized enterprises in the cross-border area of the Sarajevo macro-region and the Zlatibor District, through capacity building for cooperation and commercialization of small and medium-sized enterprises from three sectors (wood, food, and metal processing industries) in the mentioned regions, as well as the development and growth of green and smart innovations.

The partners expect that, among other things, the project activities will strengthen direct contacts between companies from border areas, provide new knowledge to both those already employed in these industrial branches and to a number of unemployed people, thereby improving their chances of finding adequate employment. The project also improves inter-chamber cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project is being implemented within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014-2020.
