Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, partner in GPP2ADRION project, explores possibilities of improved implementation of GPP in Bosnia and Herzegovina and contributes to help BIH Economy to easier transition to Circular Economy.
GPP in Bosnia and Herzegovina is still an unused tool for achieving the country’s sustainble development goals, especially in the area of environmental protection. Our national regulatory framework is still not harmonized with EU PP Criteria and Requirements.
The Chamber recognizes theese gaps and barriers as an opportunity to advance:
- Knowledge and capacity building
- Awareness and advocacy campaigns
- Collaborative pilot projects
Improved GPP practices would be facilitated by:
- Policy and regulation familirization
- Capacity building programs
- Specialized training programs for procurement officers on GPP principles, tools and methodologies
- Funding opportuinities
The Chamber is available to offer it’s help, with it’s expertize and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s easier transition to Circular Economy.
